ABOUT OUR SESSION TIME TOGETHER
1 hour before Sunset is the preferred time for softer lighting and a larger variety of images.
On a average I am taking 400 to 600 images, each image that I set up may take 6 to 10 shots to get that perfect expression and pose that we are looking for. I like to get a variety of images for you to choose from so we can start in the garden-fountain areas for the 1st 15 minutes and the remainder of the time on the beach where we can incorporate lava rock outcroppings, palm trees, green mangrove and beautiful sand and water into your portraits. I use very little flash, only enough to put a twinkle in the eyes and eliminate any shadows.
A good photographer knows how to light up the subject with just enough light that is not noticeable in most situations. The only image that should show artificial lighting is the sunset portrait, and I use a 18×24 softbox with a professional studio strobe that can handle the biggest lighting needs and still give soft light.
