Photography Experience
I have been photographing weddings and family portraits on Maui for over 15 years. I have been involved with both the Maui Professional Photographers and Hawaii Professional Photographers Associations, who's ongoing programs help keep its members on the cutting edge of all aspects of wedding and portrait photography, such as posing, lighting, and the latest digital photographic techniques. My professional experience and training help ensure that your valuable wedding and portraits are created to the highest standards.
Style & Philosophy
My approach to wedding photography is both photojournalistic and traditional. Whether you are having a Maui beach wedding or resort wedding, my goal is to capture your wedding day as it happens naturally with a photojournalistic approach along with beautiful environmental portraits.
I enjoy family portraits the best as I have the opportunity to take photos of new families with young children and also the blessing of being able to photograph Anniversary couples and their adult kids and families with them! I have young children myself and find it very easy to connect with any age children and even get great shots from the uncooperative ones, it may even mean me going out and getting hit by a couple of waves to make them laugh.
