Photography Experience
I have been photographing weddings, family portraits, conventions, architecture and aerial photography on Maui for over 10 years. I am involved with both the Maui Professional Photographers and Hawaii Professional Photographers Associations, who's ongoing programs help keep it's members on the cutting edge of all aspects of wedding and portrait photography, such as posing, lighting, and the latest digital photographic techniques. My profesional experience and training help ensure that your valuable wedding photographs are created to the highest standard possible.
Style & Philosophy
My approach to wedding photography is both photojournalistic and traditional. Whether you are having a Maui beach wedding or resort wedding. My goal is to capture your wedding day as it happens naturally (Maui style) with a photojournalistic approach along with beautiful environmental portraits. I like to work with you in advance to help with a photography time-line and if you have questions about specific wedding locations here on Maui. My goal is to make your day go as smooth and spontaneous as possible. I want you to be able to enjoy your family and friends and not feel like you are in an all day photo session.
Wedding Photography packages
Depending on your wedding location and if you are using a Maui wedding planner, your photography package can vary. I work with several of the Maui resorts and wedding coordinators in Wailea, Kaanapali & Kapalua, if their wedding packages include photography I offer a full photography credit towards any album upgrades that you may choose. I have put together several wedding and album packages that I feel can best meet your wedding photography needs. Also, all of the wedding photography packages can be upgraded after the wedding and review of the images. On an average I take 300 to 600 images, I like to have a variety of images for you to choose from when designing your wedding album. We capture the details of your wedding from the bride getting ready to family and group photos. During the ceremony I take an overview of the wedding, along with all the expected ceremony shots, and most of all we focus on getting romantic and beautiful environmental portraits of the bride and groom.
After the Wedding
If possible I like to meet for about 45 minutes a day or two after the wedding to review photos and choices for album styles and design. To provide you with a variety of images, our studio has incorporated digital capture for the editing and viewing process. All images can be printed as black & white or sepia tone. The images will be recorded to a CD along with a contact sheet for your home viewing. We will also be proving you with a recommended layout of your wedding album. We also offer a variety of wedding albums, you can select from Leather Craftsmen, Zookbinder and Art Leather. We also offer a full selection of canvas wall portraits, folios and parent albums.
